hi Mickey!

this playlist is meant to take you from the morning—when you make yourself a nice cup of coffee—all the way to the night, when you spray that signature scent on before you head out. I wanted to be able to include music from all types of genres ranging in all types of emotion.

I hope you Enjoy it!

Part 1:

Start: open this wall - Berlioz

end: Hypotheticals - Lake Street Drive

“you wake up in the morning at 8am. you make yourself a nice cup of coffee, a dark cup of ‘randy’s roast’ — w/ oat milk of course. all you want is to feel good so you put on tunes that are calm and put you in the right headspace to prepare yourself for the day’s festivities. you want to have a good day so you make choices that align with that — and we all know that starts with playing the right music.”

“it’s time to go on a short road trip. ‘where?’ you may ask? a fun day party next to the beach! you prepare by queuing some summery music that you know they'll play at the party. some reggae, a bit of r&b & a few random songs here and there. you know, the good stuff!”

Part 2:

Start: This Life - Vampire Weekend

End: Party - Beyonce

Part 3:

Start: don’t forget about us - Mariah Carey & kaytranada

end: Secunena - Sayuri & Sopholov, Fuentes Prod

"okay, day party at the beach is over. now it’s time to finally turn the f*ck up. we pull up to the club and there’s multiple rooms playing different music. some are playing hip hop & r&b, others are playing house and pop music. you hop around holding your gay little double shot margarita bopping around between different rooms, cause why not? you love all music so you give it all a try!”

Part 4:

Start: The path less traveled - Vegyn

end: Little bit more - mk.gee

“you had a great time! we both danced like our lives depended on it. you call an uber and within 15 minutes it arrives. before you leave, we hug and say ‘text me when you get home!’ to each other and wave our goodbyes. you get inside the uber and you’re still riding the high of having a good night. The uber drives off as you watch the drunk people around the club stumble across the streets. the alcohol still lingers and 10 minutes into the 25 minute drive, you realize that you’re honestly pretty drunk. the bumpy ride back to your place is extremely quiet compared to how loud the rest of your day was. the ‘quiet’ was too quiet and as much as you enjoyed yourself, slowly some thoughts of self doubt come flooding in. you’re not sure why they come but you allow it to pass through you. you feel the urge to cry, it’s definitely the alcohol. but you’re not alone on this uber ride so you maintain your composure all the way till you reach your place.
